Creative Writing?

"We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect." -Anaïs Nin. Writing is a way of working out your feelings for yourself, not always others, and I enjoy writing when I need to say something, but not to anyone or out loud. I saw a post on Pinterest, (linked here ) about fate and coincidence being personified and loved it so much that I wrote the start of a story, just describing the two. Tell me what you think in the comments or on Google+ Here it is! Down a dark alleyway in 1920’s London, a young man leant against a crate, looking slightly amusedly at the young woman before him. She, petite yet perhaps quietly overpowering sat with her legs crossed gracefully. I'm Back?!  Look, it's been a while here on White Noise, but a lot has been happening... I will keep up these posts from now on, I swear. 2017, The Year In Review.

2017 has been a big year. Donald Trump became president, that many Kardashians are meant to be pregnant no one knows what to do with themselves, and both Harry Styles and Niall Horan released albums. My 2017 has been... Eventful. I had four music exams, NAPLAN, I started high-school, joined the tennis squad, was cast in a music, did my first formal and so  many other things.I'm fairly proud of my 2017. Although lots of bad things have happened in rest of the world, my tiny life has been, in hindsight, okay. Music exams in particular have given me INSANE anxiety, angst, and just put me on the edge, but I got through in the end. I hope 2018 will bring me as much, if not more joy as the year before. I hope your 2018, dear reader, will bring astonishing happiness and memorable times with your friends and family. Until Next Time, Charlotte. White Noise.
